Gearing up for the next Shows

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

September has just started and we are bustling about packing merchandise and reorganizing the truck in preperation for heading to Spokane, WA the end of the month. The Denver Gift Show seemed down from past years with less vendors and even less buyers. We did place an order for some Fenton USA, glassware that is being made at the factory in West Virginia. We still have a few pieces of Fenton INternational, glassware which is being designed at the USA factory, but which is being made in China. We’ve kept a couple of pieces of the Fenton International in our collection as an example of the work the Fenton factory is have done overseas. We have also requested our Russian importer get us some icons. They will be new as the older icons are no longer allowed out of the country. We are also hoping to get some Polish decorative boxes on the website in the next few days. They would be great gift ideas for the upcoming holidays.

The Fenton Art Glass Company

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

The Fenton Art Glass Company, located in Williamstown, West Virginia has been creating fine glassware since 1907. In 2008 the company filed for Chapter 11 and in 2009 they reoperned their doors making a very limited glassware line for their gift shop. They opened a new branch of the company called “Fenton International” and at this time most of their glassware is being made in China. We are adding a line of pre-Chapter 11 Fenton Art Glass to the website. Check it out!

Why No High End Father Frosts (Santa Claus) on Website

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Many of our customers have asked why we do not show our high-end Father Frosts, which they see at the shows in which we participate, on our website. Many of the more expensive Father Frosts we display at the shows are one-of-a kind, or very limited editions and we believe that people need to see these pieces up close and personal, touching, examining, etc. before making the decision to purchase these pieces. If you have seen a Father Frost at one of our shows and it is not on our website PLEASE contact us and we will be happy to send you pictures of the piece.

Canus Goat’s Milk Products for Dogs

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Eli, the rescue pooch, seemed to enjoy the shampoo. It seemed to be gentle on his skin and afterwards he smelled refreshing clean. He really enjoys the dog treats we started carrying and we have sold several 12 oz packages of them to folks we know who own dogs. So far we have had only good comments about the treats. They come in two flavors; chicken and peanut butter. They are all natural and healthy for pets as well.
